By default, the dedicated stereo outputs on the BDP-95EU and BDP-105EU downmix all multi-channel content into a 2.0 mix. However, a 2.1 setup can easily be achieved when using the dedicated stereo outputs by changing a few settings.

• 1. Go to the Setup Menu and select Audio Processing.
• 2. Select Stereo Signal and change it to Front Left/Right.
• 3. Go to Speaker Configuration.
• 4. Set each of the connected speakers to Small and turn the subwoofer On.
• 5. Exit Speaker Configuration and set the Crossover setting to whatever your preference is.

When the player is configured as detailed above, audio from a source that does not have a dedicated .1 or LFE track will be directed to the subwoofer based on the crossover frequency you select. The Stereo Signal setting applies to both the stereo RCA and balanced XLR outputs.

Alternatively, if you want to make sure that you are sending a full-range audio signal to your stereo speakers in conjunction with using a subwoofer, you can configure the player accordingly

• 1. Go to the Setup Menu and select Audio Processing.
• 2. Select Stereo Signal and change it to Down-mixed Stereo.
• 3. Go to Speaker Configuration.
• 4. Set all speakers to Small and turn the subwoofer On.
• 5. Exit Speaker Configuration and set the Crossover setting to whatever your preference is.
